Dont you think PS2 and PSP graphics are almost the same?
I have a PS2 and a PSP. I love playing on the PS2… even more than the PSP… But I am disappointed that despite having almost identical graphics(that’s wot I think) there seems to be more recent titles on the PSP…. Why is this?????
I loved some PS2 titles such as SvR 10, NBA 2K9, NFS series etc… But I see that the sequels have released on the PSP but not on the PS2… When I ask people they say that PS2 will not be able to control the high end graphics… But my question is that if the PS2 can’t how can the PSP support graphics… If the graphics are lowered on the PSP then why is the same not done on the PS2??? Dont give me silly answers such as buying a PS3 or XBOX 360,, or simply buying the titles on the PSP… I want reasonable answers and the best answer gets 10 points…

Mainly the reason behind not putting out the games you love on PS2 is because this is 10 year old technology. Although they are still releasing titles for the console they are trying to force you into getting the PSP or the PS3. By releasing titles like Rockband for the Ps2 they ensure that they make all the money they can off huge hits suck as this. For other games that arent as big they wont be release. This is what I like to call a forced upgrade. This is also happening with computers. With the release of windows 7 you Microsoft has stopped selling XP.
