Does the charger for Nintendo DS lite work for the older type?
I have the older type of Nintendo DS and I’ve lost the charger for it. I was wondering if the charger for Nintendo DS lite work also for the older type? 
I lost my charger (the older type) and I need to buy a new one, but I can only buy a charger for Nintendo DS lite… does the lite charger work for the older type?

Unfortunately the DS does not take the DS lite charger. They both have different sizes. All three current main DS models have different sizes for chargers.
Since you misplaced your charger for your DS, i would suggestion calling nintendo up and see if you can get a replacement charger shipped. That or check at regular retail stores for a DS charger or check the nintendo online store and buy a replacement (yes they do have one).
